Rediscover the flavor of natural. All of our ingredients are certified organic and are of the highest quality, with no hydrogenated fat, no palm oil, no coloring, no preservatives and no artificial flavors but only pure flavors made out of natural ingredients.
Fair trade
Fair trade allows in an organized and controlled manner to improve the living standards of small producers by offering a fair price for their production. All Bel&Bio products are certified under the Fairtrade label. A simple and effective approach to help farmers in Southern countries.
The chocolate factory
We believe in pure taste that has made the history of authentic chocolate: caramel ganache, praline hazelnuts, almonds, coconuts … All our recipes are handmade in our factory. We are now more than 15 people to produce them every day.
We are the first organic chocolate factory in Europe !
Bel&Bio was nominated to be the “greenest micro-enterprise in Europe” by the European Commission (EMAS Award).
Bel&Bio always wants to go further in the sustainable approach. A new factory saw the day in Ghislenghien and all processes were reviewed.
- In 2011, Bel&Bio was nominated to be the “greenest micro-enterprise in Europe” by the European Commission in Warsaw and won the EMAS award in this category.
- In constant search of new flavors, Bel&Bio received several international awards.
- In 2012, Bel&Bio was notably nominated “Silver” trophy of Economy Network Manager Alliances in Nord-Pas-de-Calais region and won the Horizons award Hainaut (Sustainable Development award of the province of Hainaut).
- In 2013, Bel&Bio received the Belgian award of Future Generations.
- Bel&Bio is certified to have the highest level of hygiene standards. For the last four years, Bel&Bio has maintained the A level certification.
